CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

1. Applicability
This Policy applies to bookings made through the Cab Bhai website, application or authorised service channels. A booking is confirmed only after Cab Bhai confirms availability and receives the required advance amount, where applicable.
2. Customer Cancellation
Customers may request cancellation through an authorised Cab Bhai channel. The following rule applies to standard confirmed bookings cancelled by the customer without a valid reason:

3. Full Refund Cases
No cancellation deduction applies where:
- Cab Bhai cannot provide the confirmed service.
- The assigned driver refuses the confirmed trip or demands unauthorised additional fare.
- The assigned vehicle is materially different or unsafe and is not accepted by the customer.
- The driver is delayed by more than 30 minutes without a valid reason or customer acceptance.
- Cab Bhai materially changes the confirmed fare or booking conditions without consent.
- Payment is received but the booking is not confirmed, or duplicate/excess payment is made.
- A genuine service-related or safety concern is accepted by Cab Bhai.
4. Cancellation by Cab Bhai or Driver
Where Cab Bhai or an assigned driver cancels a prepaid confirmed booking without customer fault, no cancellation charge applies and the eligible advance amount shall be refunded in full. Cab Bhai may offer an alternative driver or vehicle where reasonably possible.
5. Driver Delay and Customer Coupon
Where an assigned driver is more than 30 minutes late without a valid reason or prior customer acceptance, Cab Bhai may deduct 50% of the security amount deposited by that driver for the booking and issue the deducted amount to the affected customer as a Cab Bhai coupon.
The coupon shall be subject to the usage terms communicated when it is issued. Cab Bhai may verify delay through booking, tracking, call or support records. Valid reasons may include breakdown, severe traffic disruption, unsafe road conditions, government restriction, medical emergency or force majeure.
6. Driver and Travel Agent Payment Disputes
Cab Bhai is not liable for any unpaid balance, commission conflict, fare disagreement or private payment dispute between a driver and a travel agent after their commercial arrangement has been agreed.
Cab Bhai's responsibility is limited to any security amount actually received through its platform, the record of receipt, and its adjustment or release under the disclosed platform process, subject to applicable law.
7. No-Show and Breakdown
If the customer is unavailable or unreachable after the driver reaches the confirmed pickup point, the booking may be treated as a customer cancellation and the less-than-4-hours cancellation rule may apply.
If a vehicle breaks down during the journey, Cab Bhai shall make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative. Charges for service already provided may remain payable; eligible prepaid charges for unused service not provided may be refunded or adjusted.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds shall ordinarily be initiated through the original payment method or another mutually agreed method within 7 business days of approval. Final credit timing may depend on the customer's bank, UPI provider, card issuer or payment gateway.
9. Special Bookings
Monthly rentals, corporate bookings, traveller bookings, travel packages, multi-day trips or specially arranged vehicles may carry separately disclosed cancellation terms. Any such terms shall be communicated before booking confirmation and remain subject to applicable law.

Please provide the booking ID, registered mobile number and payment reference, where relevant. Cab Bhai shall endeavour to acknowledge consumer grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within one month from receipt, subject to applicable law.
11. Policy Changes
Cab Bhai may revise this Policy by publishing an updated version on its website or application. For confirmed bookings, the cancellation terms communicated at confirmation shall ordinarily apply unless changed by law or made more favourable to the customer.
